    Phil 1:17; Heb 2:11-12

Philippians 1:17 King James Version (KJV)

17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

Philippians 1:17 Lexham English Bible (LEB)

17 The former proclaim Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, thinking to raise up affliction in my imprisonment.

    These are my thoughts.

We should proclaim Christ with a bold love for Him and not with our self in mind.

Hebrews 2:11-12 King James Version (KJV)

11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

Hebrews 2:11-12 New Matthew Bible (NMB)

11 For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all of one, for which sake he is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 saying: I will declare your name to my brethren, and in the midst of the congregation I will praise you.

11 God sees those that have come to faith and those who are yet to come to faith are the same in the Lord's eyes.

12 WE should declare and share Him because unlike we dont know who is going to faith so we should share with them because we maybe a factor for them to come to faith.

    Mark 6:35; Job 16:15-17

Mark 6:35 King James Version (KJV)

35 And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:

Mark 6:35 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

35 That evening the disciples came to Jesus and said, “This place is like a desert, and it is already late.

    These are my thoughts.
Sometime we focus on our surroundings more then that Jesus is with us.

Job 16:15-17 King James Version (KJV)

15 I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and defiled my horn in the dust.

    16 My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death;

17 Not for any injustice in mine hands: also my prayer is pure.

Job 16:15-17 Good News Translation (GNT)

15 I mourn and wear clothes made of sackcloth,

and I sit here in the dust defeated.
16 I have cried until my face is red,
and my eyes are swollen and circled with shadows,
17  but I am not guilty of any violence,
and my prayer to God is sincere.

15 Job showed all the sign of mourning and suffering, he was even speaking from grief and depression.

16 Job had spent time crying an weeping, we need to cry out to God during times of hurt and pain and also look for Him to continue to lead us.

17 Job was not perfect he didnt do a sin for this to happen but he could not measure up to God's perfection either and we may have things happen to us in life not because of our sin but simply because we live in a fallen world but we should never think we are without fault and we should seek God to grow us thru the hard times of life.

    Phil 1:16; Heb 2:9-10

Philippians 1:16 Lexham English Bible (LEB)

16 The latter do so from love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel.

    These are my thoughts.
We should serve out of our love that we have been given from the Lord and support our fellow workers of the Lord.

Hebrews 2:9-10 New Matthew Bible (NMB)

Nevertheless, we do not yet see all things subdued, but we see him who was made less than the angels. We see that it was Jesus who is crowned with glory and honour for the suffering of death: that he, by the grace of God, was to taste of death for all men.

10 For it was fitting for him, for whom all things are and by whom all things are, in accordance with the way that he brought many sons to glory, to make the Lord of their salvation perfect through suffering.

9 By God's grace Jesus came down from glory, His throne on high to die on a cross for us, He deserved our praise before because of Him being so holy by now we can praise Him openly and have a relationship with Him because of His great love which broke the bonds of us to sin.

10 Jesus perfected God's will on the cross, He finished man's conflict with sin, all we now have to do is look to Him and this was His great plan the whole time.

    Phil 1:15; Heb 2:7-8

Philippians 1:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

15 Some even because of envy and strife preach Christ, but some also because of good will.

We should not teach Christ out ou flesh but from His Spirit within us.

Hebrews 2:7-8 King James Version (KJV)

Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Hebrews 2:7-8 New Matthew Bible (NMB)

After you had for a season made him lower than the angels, you crowned him with honour and glory, and have set him above the works of your hands. You have put all things in subjection under his feet.

In that he put all things under him, he left nothing that is not put under him.

7 Jesus was here on earth from a time, Hi earthly lifetime 33 years, in which He had physical needs and desires that we do and was tempted as we are but He didn’t fall to sin because He is the answer to our sin and He is our standard to live by.

8 Jesus has full authority over everything, nothing is outside His control and power.

    Mark 6:34; Job 16:12-14

Mark 6:34 King James Version (KJV)

34 And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

Mark 6:34 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

34 When Jesus got out of the boat, he saw the large crowd that was like sheep without a shepherd. He felt sorry for the people and started teaching them many things.

Job 16:12-14 King James Version (KJV)

12 I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.

13 His archers compass me round about, he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.

14 He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.

Job 16:12-14 Good News Translation (GNT)

12 I was living in peace,
but God took me by the throat
and battered me and crushed me.
God uses me for target practice
13  and shoots arrows at me from every side—
     arrows that pierce and wound me;
and even then he shows no pity.
    14 He wounds me again and again;
he attacks like a soldier gone mad with hate.

12 We have a peace when we have a relationship with the Lord and things ae going well but we should seek Him during tough times to keep that peace. God had not attacked him but allowed satan to attack him, God was who would be there to help him.

13 God never attacks us and when He allows us to be attacked it is often for more then one reason but could grow us by making us lean more on Him.

14 God loves us, we cant determine or measure His love by what we see because there are so much more things that we can not see And if we knew all we would have no doubt of His great love for us.

    These are my thoughts.

Jesus is meant to shepherd our lives.
