We have all been here!
A PLEA FOR HELP!
Todays trials are many,
I am feeling the stress!
I will focus on the Lord,
And He will give me rest!
I must remind myself
As this day goes on.
To continually seek Jesus,
All the day long.
The attacks are coming,
So much faster now!
Help me overcome them Lord,
Please show me how!
You are my refuge,
My strength and power!
Lord lift me up,
Protect me this hour!

Another Poem "The Visitor"
The Visitor
I was working in the yard,
When the visitor walked by.
We acknowledged each other,
With a wave to say hi!
He stopped for a moment,
As we began to talk.
We conversed for awhile,
Before he continued his walk.
We had traded questions,
And answered each others.
We had also found out,
We were Christian brothers.
Had we stayed to ourselves,
And not taken the time.
I wouldn't have learned,
That his Savior was mine!
So open yourself up and,
Give the visitor your greeting.
You might be surprised,
With whom you are meeting!

What A Day!
What A Day
The trumpet sounds,
And our Lord appears!
The sky filled with His glory,
Our eyes fill with joyful tears!
The burning in our hearts,
As we hear Jesus say;
"Come with me my child."
Praise the Lord, what a day!
As we rise to meet Him,
And look into His face.
We Stumble for words to say,
Jesus gives us a warm embrace!
"Well done my child,
Come along with me."
"I've prepared a place for you,
Now together we'll always be."
"We'll sit down and talk,
Go walking side by side."
Yes great will be that day,
When Jesus comes for His bride!

Good Morning Lord Jesus!
Good Morning Lord Jesus!
Good morning Lord Jesus,
With you I'll start my day.
Reading your word for direction,
So I can walk in your way.
To start each morning,
In prayer and meditation.
Talking and listening,
A two-way conversation.
To lay at your feet,
All that I am.
So I can be your servant,
To every child, woman, and man.
As the day goes on,
Together we will face.
Those trials and temptations,
That could bring me disgrace.
At the end of the day,
I'll take time to reflect.
Confessing my sins and failures,
Your forgiveness I'll not reject!
