    Mark 3:10; 2 Peter 3:10

    Mark 2:23

KJV 23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

KJ2000 23 And it came to pass, that he went through the grain fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain.

    These are my thoughts.

We are to do as Christ does, in doing this we will not be doing sin.

2 Peter 3:10King James Version (KJV)

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

2 Peter 3:1021st Century King James Version (KJ21)

This refers to Christ’s coming. Many saying that His coming to two parts because He comes as a thief but is seen by all my view that I can see a thief in my house as I come home but would never expect to be robbed. No one will be expecting Jesus to return when He does.  This great noise may refer to the trumpet being blown to announce the King, Jesus coming. This verse does not prove global warning but says that as Jesus returns there will be a heat; this could be from the glory His has. The earth will be burned up being destroyed.

    Keep our eyes on Jesus.

    Mark 2:22; 2 Peter 3:8-9

    Mark 2:22

KJV 22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

KJ2000 22 And no man puts new wine into old wineskins: else the new wine does burst the wineskins, and the wine is spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined: but new wine must be put into new wineskins.

    These are my thoughts.

Our selves can not contain the Holy Spirit, He has to be making us knew.

2 Peter 3:8-9King James Version (KJV)

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:8-921st Century King James Version (KJ21)

8 This is symbolic shows God’s patience and shows that time means very little to the Lord. It may also lead one to believe that time may be measured different in heaven, heaven has no time though but God first made time when He ended the first day, He knows how long a day is but to Him it isn’t as important as the whole picture, all time. It was once sad that a man went to heaven and asked Jesus about eternity and they looked at the future and then could not see an end it just went on they became scared until they realized Jesus was with them, and then they looked backwards and saw no beginning. God is eternal.

9 God gave Noah 150 years to build the ark before the flood, the ark would not have taken this to build but it shows God mercy, that He was willing to give them every chance before the people died in the judgment of the flood. God wants all to come to Him but many will reject the call.

    Keep our eyes on Jesus.

    Mark 2:21; 2 Peter 3:6-7

    Mark 2:21

KJV 21 No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.

KJ2000 21 No man also sews a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up tears away from the old, and the tear is made worse.

    These are my thoughts.

We have to do away with our old garment, self for the new, Spirit.

2 Peter 3:6-7King James Version (KJV)

Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

    2 Peter 3:6-7 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

whereby the world as it then was, being overflowed with water, perished.

But the heavens and the earth which now are, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the Day of Judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

6 This refers to the flood in Noah’s day, Genesis 6-9 is the story of Noah. Only 8 survived the flood, other than the animals they had, Noah and his wife, Shem and his wife, Ham and his wife and Japheth and his wife, everyone else died. This was the first and so far only judgment to fall on the whole earth.

7 The promise given to Noah was that the earth would never again end with a flood. This could refer to the world being destroyed by fire but most likely refers to the fire of hell which is where those who reject Christ will go for judgment.

    Keep our eyes on Jesus.
