Worthy Of Our Praise
I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will
glorify thy name for evermore. For great is thy mercy toward me: and
thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. - Psalm 86:13 KJV
God's mercy toward us is great. He has delivered us from hell.
Instead of going to hell when we graduate from this life, we are going
to Heaven. That is something to praise God about. We should praise
Him every day for all that He has done for us. Saving us, redeeming
us, healing us, delivering us, providing for us, protecting us, keeping
us alive. He is so worthy of our praise.

Hold Onto The Promises
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1 KJV).
But without faith, it is impossible to please Him... (Hebrews 11:6 KJV).
Faith is the confidence that what is unseen will come to pass. How do
we know that what we cannot see will indeed come to pass in the
natural?
Because we have the title deed. We have the Bible. We have the things
that God has promised to give us in His Word. Promises that are “yeah”
and “amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20). Promises that Jesus already accomplished for us when He
went to the Cross. Those promises are already ours, but we must
believe that we already have them.
Many of us are approaching the promises from the perspective that we
are the sick trying to get healed. We are actually the healed because
Jesus took all our sicknesses on the Cross.
The enemy is trying to take away from us what is rightfully ours. He
does this in the area of our finances. Our peace. Our joy. Our
dreams. Our family.
Most Believers think satan has a right to come in and take our health,
our wealth, our total life prosperity because we sinned or are weak in
some area of our lives.
Jesus already paid the price for our sins, our sicknesses, our pain our
sorrows, our poverty and our curses (Galatians 3:13). As Pastor Joseph Prince says,
Jesus overpaid the debt we owed.
Jesus gave us all these things as gifts. He doesn’t take them back.
When we have accepted Christ, they are ours free and clear.
Most Believers don’t know this, or they don’t believe it. We have to
believe what the Word of God says. We have to put our faith in what
Jesus has already done for us on the Cross. We have to trust that when
Jesus said, “It is finished,” He didn’t just save us, but He provided
for our every need.
Take the promises of God as truth. God cannot and will not break His
promises to you. He didn’t break his promises to the great men and
women of the faith even when they said, did or thought the wrong
thing. Those things didn’t break the promises He made to them. They
only delayed them.
If God promised it to us in His Word, then it is ours. Believe it.
Receive it. Stand firm to those Biblical promises. We cannot ever let
the devil take from us what is already ours.

Mercy And Justice
My mercy and justice are coming soon. My salvation is on the way. My
strong arm will bring justice to the nations. All distant lands will
look to me and wait in hope for my powerful arm. Isaiah 51:5 (NLT)
God's mercy and justice are coming to us. Just like the nations and
the distant lands, we must wait in hope for God's powerful arm to come
through on our behalf. If we wait and keep hoping, we will see God
bring justice to our enemies and mercy to us. We must wait for Him.

Our Defeated Foe
He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been
sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to
destroy the devil's work. - 1 John 3:8 (NIV).
Jesus came to Earth to destroy the works of the devil. We allow an
already defeated foe to run our lives. We let him overrun our
thinking, our words, our actions. We need to remember that we are
already seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Look down from that
position? And what do we see? The devil under our feet. That's how
we need to act. We need to act like the devil is defeated because he
is.

Get Your Joy Back
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. - Psalm 51:12 (NIV).
We need our joy back. The joy of when we were first saved. We need
God to grant us a willing spirit. We must be willing to do any thing
God asks us to. This will bring our joy back. Joy and a willing
spirit--these things will sustain us during the hard times.

Go To The Source
God didn't call us to be people of compromise concerning the things of God.
Many people are compromising the Word of God. People are twisting it to their own advantage, to fit their own cause.
We have preachers and teachers, great men and women, falling into
temptation. Their ministries, in some cases, have become more
important to them than their relationship with God.
It is becoming hard for us, as Believers, to find examples of men and
women of God who are living according to the Word without compromise or
who are teaching the unadulterated Word of the Living God.
I feel in my spirit that we, as the Body of Christ, need to go back to
the Bible. We need to read it for ourselves. We should study it. I'm
not saying not to listen to good preaching and teaching, but I am
saying that we need to go to the Source ourselves. Study it for
ourselves instead of just relying on what we have been taught by
preachers and teachers.
Also, I believe that we need to hear God for ourselves. We need to sit
in God's presence. We should ask Him questions and just listen. We
need to get a word from God for our lives. We cannot rely on and put
our full trust in what a human preacher or prophet tells us. We have
all encountered pastors or prophets that use their giftings for their
own agenda. If you haven't, you will. And even good, well-meaning
preachers and prophets can be wrong now and again.
We need to go to God and get a word from Him. It will either confirm or deny what the preacher or prophet has told us.
It is essential to our walk with God that we go to the Source. We have
to learn to hear God for ourselves. We have to discipline ourselves to
read the Word. This way we will have a solid foundation and no matter
what ministry falls, we won't be affected because we will know the
truth and the truth will make us free.

Eden. When Jesus died for us, though, we became entitled to the

Angels serve those who inherit salvation. Angels are listening for

why we must train ourselves to speak the words of God from the Bible.

No Gloating Allowed
Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when he stumbles, do not let your
heart rejoice, or the LORD will see and disapprove and turn his wrath

We are not to gloat or laugh when our enemies stumble. Instead we
should pray for our enemies. Pray that God's blessings and grace would
overtake them. Just remember how much grace and mercy God has bestowed

Thank You
Have you ever opened the door for someone, who didn't say "thank you"?
Have you ever let someone cut in line in front of you, who didn't
acknowledge the gesture? Have you ever done something for your
child--chauffeuring him to games, washing her clothes, buying him the
toy he just had to have--and she didn't show any appreciation?
God sent His Son, His only Begotten Son, to die. They whipped Him,
beat Him and nailed Him to a cross. He took your sins, your
sicknesses, your pains, your sorrows, your poverty, your curses on
Himself. He took them so that you could be in right-standing with
God. Jesus laid down His life for you. God raised Him from the dead,
and He ascended into Heaven. He is at the right hand of the Father.
He is making intercession for you.
How many of you, or me for that matter, say "thank You" to Him? How
many of you are grateful for what He did yet never express your
gratitude to Him?
In most of your every day life, you complain about your life--your
spouse, your children, your job, your health--but seldom do you
purposely find something in your life for which you can be grateful.
When you take the time to be appreciative toward God and others, your
relationships will be more meaningful. The people around you will feel
more appreciated and feel better about themselves. And really, how
much time out of your day does it take to say "thank you" or "I
appreciate you" to your waitress? Your boss? Your co-workers? Your
mail person? Your kids? Your spouse?
How much time does it take to tell God how much you appreciate all He
has done for you--saving you, redeeming you, delivering you, healing
you, providing for you? Is a "thank you" to much to ask in return?
When a trial or difficulty comes your way, you need to stop and find
some thing good about the situation. Some thing for which to be
grateful.
You need to do what the song says, "Count your blessings. Count them
one by one." Because when you do, your perspective changes. Once you
change your focus, you change your thoughts. When you change your
thoughts, you change your life.

Rejoice

As long as we continue to rejoice, God will turn everything around for
our deliverance. We must rejoice whether we feel like it or not. We

Renew Your Youth

When we claim this Scripture, we can be like Sarah. King Abimelech
wanted her to be a part of his harem when she was approximately
ninety-years-old. How beautiful and youthful must Sarah have been to
catch the eye of a king who could have had any women he wanted. God
had renewed her youth. When we spend time with God, ours becomes
renewed as well.

The Love Walk
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. - 1 Corinthians 13:5 (NIV).
Love is not self-seeking. It keeps no record of wrongs. When we are
throwing what people have done to us back in their faces, we are not
walking in love. When we are keeping track of what we have done for
them, again, we are not walking in love. It is time that we let God's
love flow through us. Then we can be for loving to others.

Think Of Riding A Bike
Ever seen the movie Return To Me?
It's about two people. One is Bob, a man who is about to lose the wife who he loves dearly.
The other is Grace, a woman who needs a heart transplant. In one of
the early scenes, Grace is in the hospital in desperate need of a new
heart. She is obviously discouraged and is in physical pain.
Her best friend, Megan, gives her a wonderful piece of advice, " Think of riding a bike, and going to Italy."
Grace wanted to ride a bike after her transplant. Something she couldn't do before.
Grace receives her new heart from Bob's dead wife. Then she is able to
ride her bike. She even races a group of kids down the street.
When we are going through a crisis, we need to follow this advice. We
should pick a goal and focus on it. By diverting our attention to
something other than what we are facing, we will change the direction
of our lives.
A person who is learning to race a car will crash if he focuses on the
wall. If he diverts his attention on where he wants to go rather than
where he is going, the car will start moving in that direction.
That is true about us too. Wherever our minds focuses on, our bodies will follow.
This is why we have to deliberately choose what to focus on. Will we
focus on our sickness? Or what we are going to do when we are well?
Are we going to focus on the lack in our lives? Or are we going to
focus on how we can change the situation?
We must pick a goal. We need to find some thing we want to do, or
accomplish, and focus on it. When we do, our lives will change. We
will have more purpose.
When we divert our focus from the crisis to our goal, we will be able to come through the crisis victoriously.
So remember: " Think of riding a bike, and going to Italy."

No Difference
This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all
who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short
of the glory of God, - Romans 3:22-23 (NIV).
There is no difference between man or woman, good or bad, rich or poor,
we have all sinned. And Jesus died for us all. We all have the same
opportunity to accept Christ and to be His children, engrafted into His
family.

Be Set Free
Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept
bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what
bound her?" - Luke 13:16 (NIV).
What have you been bound by? What has satan kept you bound to? God
can set you free just as He did this woman because just like her you
are entitled to the blessings of Abraham.

Bless The Lord
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - Psalm 103:1 (KJV).
Everything within us needs to bless the Lord. I heard Joyce Meyer say
that when she didn't feel good, she used to confess, "Bless the LORD, O
my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name." Whenever I
eat something questionable, I confess the same thing. The more we say
it, the more our bodies will have to conform. Then our bodies will
bless the Lord. And no matter what anyone else tells us, sickness does
not bless the Lord.

Create A Harvest
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. - Psalms 119:11 (KJV).
We have to do
more than hear the Word or read it. We must meditate on it--roll it
over in our minds, think upon it and pray it--until it drops into our
hearts. Then it will grow and create you a harvest. The result is
that you will not sin in that area of your life.

He Changes Not!
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. - Malachi 3:6 (KJV).
God doesn't
change. His Word doesn't change. He is not confused. He will not say
anything contrary to His Word. That's why it is the sure Word of God.

Listen
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy
God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to
his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these
diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am
the LORD that healeth thee. - Exodus 15:26 (KJV).
Now with the New Covenant, Jesus had fulfilled the Covenant in our
lives, He has fulfilled the law. However we still must listen and obey
the voice of our Heavenly Father. Our lives just might depend on it.
