DINNER WITH JESUS CHRIST
Saints (G40 hagios), let us give our love
offerings, blessings, thanks, and praises to God our Father, to whom be glory,
honor, power, and dominion forever and ever, who has given us Jesus Christ, His
only begotten Son our Saviour, who has given all of Himself to us that we0 can
partake of His spirit forever through faith in His name.
Brothers and sisters, much love,
blessings and peace to you. Praise God we all have His Word, the Bible wherein
we are all taught explicitly all that God commands His people to eat/live
spiritually. The Bible is also just as explicit in teaching us what God forbids
us to NEVER eat spiritually.
Therefore, holy people, through being
taught and living His Word, God makes us fully conscious and aware that there
are different kinds of spiritual food, again, -only God’s spiritual food is
good- the Word of God.
Again, God trains/instructs/guides/teaches
all believers to grow to maturity in His word, to recognize/seek/partake of His
spiritual food often, liberally, in explicit, exclusive, exhaustive, and general
detail down to the minutiae, and shown to be found exclusively only on the
Lord’s table.
Holy brethren, we know that it is our steady consumption of that which can only be found on the Lord’s
table which always leads us to spiritual wellbeing, acceptable to the Lord, and
guarantees that we will produce good fruit. Yes, we have physical bodies, but again,
through faith in Lord Jesus, we have all been made spiritual beings who will
continue to live with Jesus after our physical bodies on earth die.
Some when they pass a cemetery get
creeped out, scared, or find it unpleasant. However, as believers in Christ
every cell in our bodies cries out in victory and praises to our Lord and
Saviour, who has abolished death: Job 19:26
And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall
I see God:
Hos 13:14 I will ransom them from the
power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O
death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy
destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
2Ti 1:9-10; 1Co 15:50-58.
How then shall one actually partake of
this spiritual holy food found only on the Lord’s table, which is Christ
Himself with the testimony of God in all He has done and commanded regarding
His Son:
AMP
Jhn
6:47 47I
assure you and most solemnly say to you, he who believes
[in Me as Savior--whoever
adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me--already] has eternal life [that is, now possesses it]. 48I am the Bread
of Life [the Living Bread which gives and sustains life].
Spiritual realities- the physical temporal
world, we know, was created by God through His Son Jesus and is upheld by the power
of Jesus who gives life and breath to every creature. Let us serve God
faithfully in the allotted time He has given us:
Gal
3:26 For ye are all the
children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Heb
11:6But without faith it is impossible to
please him: for he that cometh to
God must believe that he is, and that he
is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Luk
18:17
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of
God as a little
child shall in no wise enter therein.
We see explicitly, we know most
certainly, dearly beloveds, that Jesus commands us all to come to Him trusting
and leaning on Him like little children, knowing we Will ALWAYS find love,
comforting, and assurances of peace in Him in this present evil world and the
world to come. We know, that He is not impressed with the wisdom or so called
knowledge of mere men seeing in Him is all wisdom and the fullness of the Godhead
bodily: Jhn
1:16; 1Co
1:30; Col
1:19; Col
2:9; 1Jo
5:20.
So holy brethren, again, we know, the
Lord’s table is explicitly, exclusively, exhaustively for His people, who are spiritually minded,
who come to Him trusting in His word as His dear little children, knowing that
it is impossible for God to lie therefore willingly, gratefully submitting to
His will in obedience out of love in all matters pertaining to living godly
lives publicly privately: Rom 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to
be spiritually minded is life and peace.
AMP Ro 8: 12So
then, [a]brothers
and sisters, we have an obligation, but not to our flesh [our human nature, our
worldliness, our sinful capacity], to live according to the [impulses of the]
flesh [our nature without the Holy Spirit]-- 13for
if you are living according to the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to
die. But if [you are living] by the [power of the Holy] Spirit you are habitually putting to death
the sinful deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever. 14For
all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God
are sons of God.
Rom 8:13
For if ye live after the
flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye
shall live.
1. Mortify:
to make to die i.e. destroy, render extinct, besetting sins, inordinate
affections, lusts etc.
2. by
death to be liberated from the bond of anything, literally to be made dead in
relation to (something)- no longer incited to submit oneself to, no longer
compelled to indulge/practice in that which is sinful or forbidden
Brothers and sisters, I give our great Shepherd
of the flock, Lord Jesus thanks for your fellowship in these studies. Let us go
patiently with open hearts, and teachable minds to our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ to be fed in our spirits in whatever we need by the power of the Holy
Spirit in the presence of and the determinate will of God our Father, that we
may grow thereby.
This particular Mary appears in several
instances in scripture performing the same act of worship on Jesus each time. We
will look at these passages in the books they appear. In the book of Matthew
the name of the woman is not mentioned, but other scriptures elsewhere name only
Mary associated with this act and we can reliably know it is the same Mary in Matthew too although she
is not named there. Mat 26:6
Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the
house of Simon the leper,
7 There came unto
him a
woman having an alabaster
box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as
he sat at meat.
8 But when
his disciples saw it, they
had indignation, saying, To what
purpose is this waste?
9 For this ointment might have
been sold for much, and given to the poor.
Indignation: to be indignant, moved with
indignation, be very displeased.
Waste: a perishing, ruin.
I cannot imagine what these disciples would
have thought had they been present when the three wise men brought gifts to the
infant Jesus and worshipped Him. The disciples did not truly understand who
Jesus is, at this time. The reaction of the disciples showed they had a very worldly
understanding of Jesus’ heavenly mission. They appeared to think that His mission
was social to fix the poor and to establish a worldly Israel on this present
earth.
The woman giving from her heart had every
right to do as she wished with her own property, and we have to note she
understood who rather than what was of the greatest value, and it was not her
alabaster box of precious and expensive ointment.
Love and truth forever, serola

DINNER WITH JESUS CHRIST
Brothers and sisters, let us continually
worship and thank God our Father for sending His only begotten Son Jesus Christ
into the world. Through Lord Jesus Christ we, and all who believe and receive
the free gift, (Rom
5:16), of salvation have received the eternal remission of all
sins, spiritual wholeness, assurance, completeness, spiritual well -being, intimacy and peace with God the Father in perpetuity.
Moreover, dearly beloveds, we know that we
have received one another through Jesus, to love in truth, care and minister to
one-another. Let us, holy brethren, in one accord continually venerate and love
our God with all of our hearts, with all of our minds, all of our strength and
every fiber of our spirits for God is worthy, and glorify Him in our love for
one another: Rom
12:5:
1Jo 3:10
In this the children of
God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he
that loveth not his brother.
1Jo 3:14
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He
that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
Brothers and sisters, the scriptures make
many explicit references to eating in a natural sense, but also in a spiritual
sense as well. In fact, they are often compared and contrasted to one another.
No doubt without physical food the natural body will die, or without sufficient
nutritional quality the natural body will weaken and not be able to function
properly, and overtime this could shorten life. We know God wants us to eat as
good a quality of food as we are able. Limited fasting or abstinence from
physical food in the New Covenant is voluntary whether
private or done within any body of believers who agree to fast together.
To be clear, brethren, the Bible never
says that physical food is unimportant, but that it is unable to feed the spirit, that part of
believers that through Jesus
Christ has been made eternal
and continuing forever after the death of our natural bodies. We all
need spiritual food, which is Lord Jesus Christ Himself the Word of God: Jhn 1:14. The church
can only have unity through the scriptures which alone fully equips the saints
(G40 hagios) to love, live in the truth, fight, pray, and do the will of God: 1Co 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is
made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
The natural man: 1Co 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the
things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto
him: neither can he know them, because they
are spiritually discerned.
The Bible is not a dispute, it is a absolute,
final declaration. Therefore, we share the word in the world, whether men accept
it or not.
1Co 3:19
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it
is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
We know the absolute eternal truth from God, dearly
beloveds, that God commands no one to belong to any denominations, institutions,
organizations, schools, or certain philosophies or values promoting high
academic performance, etc. to be saved: 1Co 1:18
For the preaching of the cross is to
them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the
power of God.
Before we get into this study, dearly
beloveds, some might say everything that Jesus said is not in the Bible. It is
true that everything that Jesus DID in terms of his many signs is not mentioned
in scripture the biblical reason is given: Jhn
20:30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in
the presence of
his disciples, which are not written in this book:
Jhn
21:25
And there
are also many other
things which Jesus did, the which, if they should
be written every one, I suppose that even the
world itself could not contain the books that should
be written. Amen.
The whole of scripture is completed in the New Covenant, which is
entirely complete/finished, explicit, exhaustive, absolute, inerrant for all
eternity. Jesus told His apostles all things He heard from God: Jhn
15:15
Henceforth I
call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I
have called you friends; for all things that I have
heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
We of Christ have through Lord Jesus, the
Holy Spirit in us too: Jhn
14:26
But the Comforter, which is the
Holy Ghost, whom the Father will
send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have
said unto you.
Through the word of God, the church as a
whole is commanded by God to test the spirits: 1Jo
4:1.
Therefore, brethren, the whole of scripture
was written by holy men of God as they were moved, guided by and under the
power of the Holy Spirit, which is the spirit of Truth, without error in its
origins and evidenced in those who would later copy it faithfully within its
context without perverting, adding, or taking away from its origins to disseminate
its message faithfully in the world.
Jhn
6:53
Then
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His
blood, you have no life in you.
Jesus’ above teaching is not a condition,
but an absolute eternal spiritual truth/fact. Jesus will not negotiate, bargain, cut a deal,
grade on a curve, nor give any excuse to those who impenitently reject His New Covenant of free grace through faith in His atoning work. However, those who
receive/believe in Him-(His atoning work) have absolute
eternal assurance of eternal life in Him and peace and reconciliation
with God the Father, and the gift of the Holy Ghost the instant anyone believes.
There is much focus on the straw man that
God will not violate Mans’ will so men are free to reject God’s will, and God
is just fine and accepting of it. However, the eternal truth is that the only
will that counts in salvation and for all time is God’s will alone. We find clear
teachings from the Old Testament to the New Covenant of the irreversible consequences
of the wrath of God for those who reject Him, and the irreversible rewards of eternal
salvation for all those who believe in Him.
Jesus Christ is the Word of God, the Word
of Life, and He has given us His word so that we can know Him, grow in Him, and
live in through and by Him to the Father in perpetual fellowship with Him and one another by practice daily. We are
clearly instructed by Christ the Head of the church to be perfectly equipped through
the scriptures over the course of time by servant officers and teachers to
achieve spiritual maturity through the Word. Brothers and sisters, are all anointed as
priests under our Saviour, High Priest, Mediator, and King, so we all can confidently
carry out our ministry to love the truth, do good works, and share the gospel to encourage one
another and to save all who will believe in the only Saviour and Lord Jesus
Christ. Please feel free to study further on your own the priesthood of all believers under our Saviour High Priest Lord Jesus Christ.
Next time, holy people, we go to dine
with Jesus Christ in Bethany. Until then brethren, I love you all, and am
praying for you, pray for me and all kinds of prayers for the brethren and all
men.

ALL THE PROMISES OF GOD
REST FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD
Brothers and sisters, let us give our fervent love, thanks,
blessings and praises to God our Father who has called us out of darkness and
made us children of light through faith in our Saviour, Mediator, and High
Priest-God the Son of God with power Jesus Christ. Even as we worship and
praise God our Father, let us pour out the sweet incense of our love, thanks,
blessings and praises to our great Shepherd of the flock, whose eyes never
close in sleep, but are ever upon His sheep, even before the throne of God our
Father making intercessions for the saints (G40 hagios), making no difference
between Jew and gentile who are BOTH all ONE in Him: Rom 3:22; Rom 10:12; Eph 2:18-22; Gal 2:14.
Much love, blessings and peace to you, dearly beloveds. I pray
and know that our Lord and Saviour will through our mutual prayers for one another,
keep us steadfast, walking in the truth, patiently trusting in Him. Let us pray
for any that are sick amongst us that God will send healing, and help; and
comfort for the grieving and deliverance for any that are in any trouble. Let
us remember to give practical help/minister to the poor and needy amongst us, not
neglecting the household of faith. God has given us the good news to share with
one another and in the world, while the door is still open: Heb 7:25.
God has given us the comfort/teachings of the scriptures to
nourish and strengthen all who believe in Him. More than ever before we realize
that we are a spiritual people, who are not of this present evil world, which
in time will become far eviler than any of us can even imagine. However, God
commands us to never be afraid and has not given us the spirit of fear: 2Ti 1:7.
Jhn 15:19
If ye
were of the world, the world would love his
own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have
chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Some might think it is impossible that there can be any rest,
comfort, or peace in a world in a handbasket on a pair of roller skates
slipping on a banana peel hurling towards catastrophic evil, depravity,
corruption and certain doom.
I thank our God and Father who has given us the right to
fellowship with Him and one another through faith in His Son Jesus our great
Saviour and Shepherd of the flock. We need God we are completely dependent on
Him and interdependent on one another. However, God is sufficient in and of
Himself and needs no one, but in mercy/kindness He has eternally welcomed us to
Himself with loving open arms. In the undying incendiary eternal love of Jesus,
God the Son of God with all power and authority who has given all of Himself to
you, me, us, we find the only kind of love eternal that truly deeply fully
richly satisfies us-gives unto us spiritual completeness, hope, joy, strength, and
the measure of faith to fully trust in Him without doubt.
…And how do we come to Him, receive Him, embrace Him? We come
confidently knowing: Rom 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the
flesh, but after the Spirit.
We come as little children trusting, and confident we will
always be fully accepted and embraced in the beloved forever, knowing that the
habitual murmurers, questioners, debaters, or disputers have no part in Him.
We come to Him in faith knowing that without faith it is
impossible to please Him, and He has given all of us the measure of faith that
works by love and is sustained by absolute truth and trust in the love of our faithful
Father, who gave to us His only Son:
He has not called to Himself the scholar, guru, pundit, or the smartest
guy with all the answers, He has called to Himself His little children who
humbly submit to His will out of love and trust in Him, who run eagerly to the
always open arms of their heavenly Daddy readily to receive them. These are
given and receive the inner spiritual peace, hope, and joy that can never be
diminished in a lost and dying world.
Heb 11:6
But without faith it
is impossible to please him: for he
that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he
is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
There is no reason, dearly beloveds, to debate about how much
faith is the measure of faith that Jesus gives to all believers. Some reason in error that God gives some a
little faith and some great faith. We must trust the scriptures there is no
verse in scriptures that declare God gives a measure of faith in the sense of a
meted portion to all believers. No, the Bible states clearly, corrects and
defends without error nor contradictions that the only kind of faith God gives
to every believer is THE
measure of faith-THE FAITH OF JESUS: Rom 12:3
For I
say, through the grace given unto me, to every
man that is among you, not to think of himself more
highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according
as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
We are complete in Christ. God has fully equipped us and given
us every spiritual blessing with everything we need to please, serve Him and
one another in love: Col 2:9-10.
2Pe
1:3
According as his divine power hath given unto
us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of
him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Rom 12:2
And be not conformed to
this world: but be ye transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that ye may
prove what is that
good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Heb 13:21
Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that
which is wellpleasing in
his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and
ever. Amen.
God is in control. God made us and all that is in the world. He
has designated a day of judgment wherein there will be a permanent separation
of the righteous from the evil. We are living in the last days, and it is the
will of God that we share the gospel while the door is still open. Let us keep
in remembrance that we ourselves are commanded by God to eat and drink into our
great Saviour to live His life, for sustaining spiritual nourishment and health,
for intimacy, strength, assurance, instruction, and the comfort of the
scriptures through the Word, made flesh, the Bread and Incorruptible Seed of
heaven for the children of God.
Heb
4:9
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of
God.
Heb 4:10
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath
ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
1Pe
4:2
That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the
flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. love and truth forever, serola
