1John 4:17 This is how love has been perfected among us: we will have confidence on the day of judgment because, while we are in this world, we are just like him.

    REVIVAL

We recently held revival at our church. We had a wonderful time of worship. The worship leader was fantastic and a great evangelist brought Gods message. What a blessing to see the Holy Spirit at work in our lives as well as others. All I can say is if anyone that attended did not receive a blessing it is their own fault. I pray that the ones there who were lost that a seed was planted and that hearts will be moved to accept Jesus as Savior. Amen.. Mark 16:15 And He said to them, Go into all the world, proclaim the gospel to all the creation.

    THE GUIDE

Our minds are sometimes clouded by internal wrangling . Seems like we are confronted every moment with decisions to be made.We are bombarded with deadlines.. We often to quickly trust our instincts, and our ability to discern, our own wisdom. But trust in ourselves along can make us vunerable. Without the Lord as our guide and His Word as our compass, we can quickly get lost in the marshes of life. More often than not we had rather do things our way. However depending on the Lord is always the best choice to make. He who knows us best and loves us most will guide us through life…[Proverbs 3:5-6] 5- Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding. 6-In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

    WHAT IF?

What if everyone could get along together and be real friends, and neighbors not letting money power or their jobs get in the way? It is sad to but more people care more about their jobs or their money and prestige than friends relatives or neighbors, and in a lot of cases family. The main goal in life for them is how this world and other people rate them. How much money they can acquire and how much power they can have over other people.  Lots of people do not understand or don’t care how Jesus told us to live. Here are a couple of verses explaining..John 15:12-13 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 No one has greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends..Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon.

    A SURE THING

There are very few things we can be sure of these days. We may think we are secure with our jobs and our relationships but in reality we are far from secure. We never know what tomorrow will bring. We may be on top of the world today and lose everything tomorrow. There is really only one thing that is for sure and that is the love God has for us all. After all He gave His Son so any one who believes on Him would be saved. What a wonderful feeling knowing; that is a sure thing. Romans 10:13 For everyone, “whoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

    Knowledge

A couple of guys stopped at a filling station to get gas. The attendant came out  bringing a ten gallon drum with him. He explained that the gasoline pump was not registering correctly. He filled the ten gallon bucket and put the gas in the car. The gas pump read 9.7 gallons. One of the men said I can fix that pump if you want. The attendant agreed, and the man took the cover off the counting mechanism. He studied  mechanism for a minute then he turned  a screw one fourth of a turn. The attendant  filled the drum again and the gas pump read 10.0 gallons. How much do I owe you? asked the attendent. Twenty five dollars the man replied. You mean I owe you twenty five dollars for just turning a screw one fourth a turn? No the man replied it’s knowing which screw to turn. Knowledge is money in the bank. But Gods knowledge is priceless. We should always seek it above silver or gold…Proverbs 8:10 Receive my instruction and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

    THE BATTLE

Sometimes, I feel like I am fighting a loosing battle. The harder I try it seems like the more happens or gets in the way of my walk with God. I know that we are to trust in the Father to get us through hard times, as well as to bless us with good things. It sure does get to be a strain on ones faith to live in this old world and to withstand the evil that Satan throws at us. All I know to do is pray and ask God to give me strength to overcome, and His protection as I walk with Him. I know that God is with me and will never leave me and I pray never to turn my back on Him…Romans 12:11-12  As to diligence, not slothful, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;12  rejoicing in hope, patient in affliction, steadfastly continuing in prayer,
