In 1992, after many years of physical illness, frustration and lack of direction in life, I read a scripture verse (Jeremiah 29:11). That verse was so encouraging and so full of power that it forever changed my life. Prior to that date, I had never read the Bible. However, after that wonderful encounter with the scriptures, I began to study the Word of God and have discovered the plan God has for my life, and by His grace, I am endeavoring to fulfill it.
In 1995, God lead me to the Upperroom Bible Church in New Orleans, Louisiana. Under the leadership of Pastors Herbert and Carol Rowe, I have learned that the Bible indeed has the ability to change situations in your life. And, if you cooperate with its precepts and commands, you can experience its promises.
In 1996, the Ministry of Encourage-Meant was established. Encourage-Meant is a Christian organization dedicated to publishing the gospel of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Just as the name implies, its purpose is to encourage others as well as motivate them to find and fulfill God's plan for their lives so that they can be all He created them to be.
In further pursuit of the great plan for my life, I attended the Upperroom Bible Church School of Ministry where I graduated in 2003.
