About Me: I have been married for 27 years on August 25, 2007. My husband and I have a mixed family, he had 3 children, I had 1 and we have 1 together. There are no step mothers or step fathers and no step children or brothers and sisters. We are just one big happy family. God is 1st in our lives and has showed many, many miracles in our lives and all around us. We are thankful for His love and mercy! I come from a family of 6 brothers and sisters, of which all are living along with my momma and daddy and my 99 year old grandma. My brothers and sisters and I all grew up in a tiny 2 bedroom house with an outdoor toilet. We were considered poor by others but by our standards we were very rich. We grew up very close (not just physically either!) and we still are. Most of use call each other every day but sometimes we get caught up in everyday stuff and don't get to call but about once a week. However, you can believe I do call my parents everyday come what may!!! Even though we were considered poor by most folks around us all the kids, which were about 10 all together allways wanted to come to our house and play or hang out (don't know why but they did). That being said, for some reason we rarely ever wanted to go to their houses. Every sunday, after church and after lunch, all the kids would come to our house and we would go swimming in the pond during the summer and during the off seasons would come over and just hang out. I had a great childhood with good christian parents and grandparent. I thank God all the time for the guidance that they gave to me and for guiding my parents...It has helped me through a many a difficult time in my life. My favorite saying is "Be Still and Know that I am God" and the other one is "This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it". I allways say to my kids that God didn't say if the day was good, bad, rainy or clear He just said "This is the day"!!!! I guess I have jabbered enough so I'll stop with saying that I have truly enjoyed your site and I have recommended it to many people. God Bless You All!
