I recall in 1985, my mom was diagnosed with cancer of the liver, but it was so advanced that they refused to start chemo and gave her 3 months to live. She unfortunately passed away 10 years later after a kidney transplant, but was healed from the terminal cancer. I had always wondered if my mom was a true follower of Christ and whether she was in heaven. Those thoughts hung heavily on my mind as I did not want to imagine her anywhere else but in heaven. Then this year my brother reminded me of the miracle she experienced with her cancer. He reminded me that God answered her prayers and healed her of the cancer. Using that as a starting point, I was able to then look at her life with very different eyes and I actually began to see her immense love for the Lord through her actions. Your post just reminded me what an awesome woman she was and how she is seated in heavenly places.
    Thank you
    God Bless

I truly believe that, the desires of a true Christian's heart are from God. God sends things to us and then it is up to us to prosper with them or not. I am not materialistic. I never ask for things like a new car or a vacation..but I see many that do ask for prayer for such things. Me, I pray for things that I know are heavy on my heart and on the heart of others. If all this makes sense.

    God Bless,
