This carefulness regarding ordination is wisdom, brother. A leader in a specified area of ministry is one who has demonstrated faithfulness in that area. Paul did not want to take John Mark on his second journey to revisit the saints because he wanted someone who would "stay the course."
And Jesus Himself said, "No man having put his hands to the plough and turning back is fit for the kingdom of God." Before ordinatiion, a person should be "tested and tried" indeed.
