No, dear sister. My father tried (and his efforts probabaly made the lesson come easier when finally it did) But I think the Military (believe it or not) cured me of that in basic training. But that is another story to tell sometime later...

Your parents were knowledgable. It is even harder in today's world to raise a boy with values. I always told my sons "If you fight and win, you look like the big bully. If you fight and lose, you look like a weakling." It is a no win situation.
Why my son chose to be a Police Officer I'll never know! ML
