I think that your mistake may have been in the name that you chose for your 15 year old. (wink)
It is a nice observation that God sees us like that older brother, complainig about someone else doing the things that we do. There is a legalist at church driving me crazy. Maybe I need to examine my own legalism.

Hi Chip and welcome to this wonderful blog site. I laugh when I read this as I now have a 6 year old who seems to be acting like I did when I was 16!
All the best as you sacrifice your time to love all those wonderful children. Children can be such amazing gifts!

    God bless

Thanks for all of the encouragement. There have been times in my relationship with the 15 year old that I wanted to throw in the towel. I am glad that I didn't because I am seeing him become a little more mature, as nmature as a 15 year old can get :). That gives me hope that the 8 year old can be turned around. It is quite humorous at times, watching him attempt to be grown up. It also breaks my heart that he was forced to take on a parental role in his birth home at such a young age and that he has to learn to be just a kid. Thanks for all of the encouragement and have a blessed day.
