Hi Ross,
I truly enjoy you story of the shoe man, very
touching. God works in mysterious ways. He
knows what we need and when.
Thanks for sharing.
God Bless you and yours.

This reminds me of a story told to me by a friend who used to sing in a gospel group. The front doors of a very large church were swung open wide and the service was being televised. As my friend was singing, he noticed a ragged man walk in off the street and quietly sit down in the back. Quickly, two of the "ushers" went back and escorted the man back out to the street. After the song was over, my friend promptly left the stage and never went back for their second "set". Sometimes I wonder what the religion of man is going to gain him as he stands before the ragged man to be judged. It is a sad, sad state that parts of the body find themselves in.
In His Service.....and grieved,

Hi Ross: wonderful story. we cannot be reminded enough that God is no respecter of persons. We saints must take care, to be concerned about people, not based on mere appearances. Neither riches nor poverty makes us good, only what Christ has accomplished for us on the cross, evidenced by our obedience to walk in love towards one another.
