Wow Eve, you write such beautiful, meaningful blogs.
This was particularily good and so right on the mark.
Hebrews 11 is a wonderful, up-lifting chapter that gives me such hope for the future.
If all these people could live by their faith and leave in everything in God's hands, why not me too?
It is hard to let go and let God!
But, I strive to put my life totally in His care and live as you did... by faith only.
God bless you for sharing your heart again!

Dear Mary Lou, thank You for You very kind words. I do completely understand what You are saying - it is hard to let go and let God! We so want to know and see in order to believe, we want to be in control. It is hard to submit and surrender and allow Him to move... but this is what He requires of us. Oh, constant training!

So glad you are back. I missed you. Hope your time down in the country was full of rest and peace. It does one good to be relaxed and it is much easier to keep the mind on God.
Faith is a very big subject and I admit I could use more. Abraham is known for his great faith, and many more as you mentioned. Without faith it is impossible to please God". We must have a certain bit of faith to even be born again. I pray God is pleased with my faith.

Dear Brenda, thank You so much for Your comment. I did relax in the country. It is so wonderful to get away from the city and be in the nature. You are so right, it is easier to hear the voice of God and keep the mind of God there. I also got to read through yet another one of Mitford novels by Jan Karon - my favorite author of all time. She writes beautiful books, so filled with love, helping to keep us on the right track in this life.
