Brother: I have said for a long time now that "PC" means "Probably Crap" and I mean that in all sincerity. Being decent and considerate is one thing. To only care about the appearance of being decent and considerate is hypocrisy. It even goes back to the root of where that very word (hypocrisy) and the concept is derived from in our language.
I am quarter blooded Native American. I am actually hard to offend by making racial slurs about Indians, mainly because I fundamentaly do not consider that the person's motivations are along that lines unless they go out of their way to prove just such is the case. I hear jokes and what not from people all the time. I look like a typical "white-bread" American. That term itself could be offensive to some, and politically correct to others. That is the level of stupidity that this has risen to.
It even gets stranger. I have two daughters by my one wife. One Legally can claim to be Native American. The other cannot. So when someone bashes me with the Race Card, I tell them they can have it back. Sometimes I tell them softly. That is never counted as credit to me. Sometimes I would remind some of Christ Running off the Moneychangers in the temple, and I guarentee you, the attack dogs come out in force when I do that, especially for those inclined to think of their own "sexual orientation" as protected while mine is obviously not.
Hypocrits are the ones who swing the "PC Club" the most heavily. Their prejudice is imposed upon you. They impune your intentions without regard to the fact that your motivations may not be as they accuse you. They yell racial slurs and feel justfied -- YOU are the racist! They expect you to always give them the benifit of the doubt. However, they never measure you by the measure they expect to be used against them. Christ would call them what they are, and so should you and I, if we seek to be like Him in Everything.
So, yes, you can correctly accuse me of "disturbing the peace" because my intention is to turn this world on its ear!!!
