    In a word: ENGAGE!!!

    Make it so.

My simple prayer: Lord, Make it so!

I take heart in Peter's Stumbles. This verse you mention encourages me when I make a bad step. What does it encourage me to do? Step back and reasess things based upon one criteria only: God's Word.

Another that encourages me is Peter denying Christ Three Times before the Cock Crowed. Cephas. Peter. The one who spoke the Rock on which this Church is built and that is that Christ is Christ, as he said he was! He fulfilled the Law and it's Requirements, once for all! The Law still stands, but if you claim the sacrifice that was made for you and I, you need not fear the sting of death. Peter KNEW that. Still, he fell down.

Peter believed, and yet still he faltered.

I expect we all are no better than Peter. We will stumble, as he did. What we do after stumbling defines us more than the fact that "We Failed" and will do so again.

So. Examine what they do in D.C., in the Pulpit, in the Halls of your childrens' schools, and whereever else you Think God should be. For me, I know that He is everywhere, as it should be. And He is denied more than proclaimed. Why do you think the gate is narrow?

Proclaim truth as best you can see it.

    AMEN!

    Mel
