I just look at this and have to laugh at myself. Am I that hopeless that I wonder if I could ever be as happy as Jesus was if I had no place to rest my head? Still got millions of miles to go!

Lee, my husband always said we could be happy living in a tent as long as we had Jesus. He was speaking for himself. I'm a member of the got millions of miles to go club too.

I think that I am rich, you mean I'm not. Before I came to Christ, I had no home of my own, my car was about to be repo'd, I was working a job which could not even pay any of my bills, I had big debts. In the short nine yrs. that I have been with Him, I have a home, a nice car, a good job, no credit card debt.
I look at the rest of the world with their big expensive cars, their million dollar homes, their giant credit card bills, and their misery... and I realize I am far better off than all of them. From here, I probably wouldn't be too happy in a tent either but if that's all I ever knew...?
Perception is the difference. I really do think I'm rich...in comparison to many, I know I am. All my needs supplied!

Teri, I am rich in Christ. I dived in dumpsters so to have a hot meal means richness and that my seed shall never beg for bread. I understand Your gratitude to Christ. I own it too!
