With some interest I have read some of your posts about women in the Bible. Truly they should be acknowledged for giving birth to the fathers. But before Christ women on earth not living by the Law obeyed their husbands entirely because of their husband’s power and force, and the heathen women’s hostility towards men could not be overcome since their husband’s were not in the Spirit that Noah gave life to – and which Abraham, Isac, and Israel shared. The later mothers among the Children of Israel lived differently from previous mothers, of course, since they all were meant to live by the Law. But when Jesus came womens focus changed. No longer did they live by the commandments of their husbands, but they went for his son – for the Son of Man as if a mission given them.

When Paul here let write about spirits, women are like men’s spirits: “… And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order.” ( 1 Corinthians 14)

Praised be Jesus Christ, The Son.

It's both a blessing and a pleasure to hear from you Andre. Thanks for the insight. Please keep reading, as time goes by. I am still studying women in Genesis and plan to work my way through the Bible. My earlier posts are actually a journal I wrote while still a baby Christian - just learning to walk with the Lord. I've been blogging here for 13 months and as I read retrospectively, I've come a long way in my purpose for God.

    Blessings ~ Terri
