The Bible tells us that some lack because of their own unwillingness to work, squandering their money and poor stewardship of it. Why try to lead people to think that God is a santa clause, all they have to do is wait before he drops the goods into their hands.
The Bible tells us to work for what we want, and to help others that due to poverty outside of their control.
