Hi, nice post. I feel that's where wisdom comes in. Where there is no wisdom, there's poverty. Thank you for sharing. God Bless!

You know, there is always going to be a push between faith and what you can see. Even though the leaders may not do as they preach, the message they give may still be valid despite the hypocrisy. Jesus addresses this in his day. What makes us think that such would not be still be the case? I think that people dealing with the economic problems of D.C. and other similar areas would move on to some other area. As for me, I only have two children. I think that I disagree with some of what the leadership is saying in respect to having children, but still think it is a matter of faith. I look at this world and the problems caused by overpopulation and have to wonder at the wisdom that they are displaying. To say that I differ is to put it mildly. I think that responsible consideration is not wrong, and neither is moving on in faith against what seems to be the case that you see in front of you.

This undersubject of population is one on my mind for some time. I do see the evil in letting those who are not responsible to push the population up and expect as their due that some sort of entitlement must support them. I still ride mass transit, and hear the conversations that lead me to believe that there are still those who procreate simply to get themselves into a better financial situation. That is not right!

Should we respond in kind? The assumption is that children born into a christian family will stay with the faith. I challenge that very premise. There are statistics that say otherwise. First and foremost, raise your children in the training that God would have you do. We are far from perfect in that.

As for the rest: Faith. Follow it. Do what is laid on you heart as right, not becuase of what this or that leader says, but not in spite of it, either. You can follow when you have no clear dirrection to do otherwise. If, however, you follow a higher leadership...

    In Faith,

    Mel
