This pretty accurately describes my mental state, my spiritual state, my emotional state, and even my physical state right now. I can not pump out verse and verse again, but then, for me, I think it is more of a skill than a gift.

Just wanted to say thanks for speaking for a lot of us. As we are told to be alert to our thoughts and give them to Jesus. The best way to do this is to fill our minds and heart with Gods' word. The more we fill it up, the more space is occupied with Him. It isn't easy but if we are persistant we can do it. This battle is not over til' God says it's over. And we win! Love and peace.
