Hi Eric, well said, the saints do not get to dictate to God how He should answer our prayers.I have heard many saints testify that when they took time to focus on praising and thanking Jesus for Who He is, rather than what one wanted,they rose above the need. Of course it's good to ask Jesus for our needs, but in anything a balance is needed. We pray, praise and give thanks in complete trust that God is always in control. Thanks for a wonderful post, encouraging Christian maturity, humility and respect for the soverignity of God, regarding prayer, and everything else.
