Do you know Carol...I wrestle with the same thoughts. I wonder at times if I should sign a pen name at my poems so no one would know I was the author and other times I think if I didnt sign my name I would not be confessing my faith and letting people know this is what I believe. I do prefer to sign all my work so I can stand over it. Oh the devil does attack me a lot on this. I know Carol if we are only writing to glorify ourselves the quicker we put down our pens the better. Then here is the thought again if you did that...what are you doing hiding the one talent the Lord has trusted you with and not using it for Him. He indeed will be asking an account for it. I am so glad the Lord knows my heart and where I am coming from. Take care Carol.
    God bless.

    Lovely picture of your garden!

Hi Carol..I was meaning I had one talent not you!....just in case you were wondering! My garden is a mess...the wind is making havoc. I live in a very exposed area..a hill on top of a hill! One Boxing day about seven years ago..nearly all my conifers blew down in a gale and what was left...I had to cut down. I had to start my garden of nearly from scratch again. It does not look too pretty at the moment!
    God bless.

I certainly did not see anything wrong in what you wrote. I think we both know that the Lord has given us many different talents, some more obvious than others, but the general message in that parable still applies to us all. You have a talent with poetry, but also with creating beauty in the garden,(despite what it might look like right now in the middle of winter) and with the gift of encouragement, of which many of us have been at the recieving end. So we won't even go into the idea of just one talent.

I suspect that all of us gardeners are a bit concerned about what this weather will do to our gardens, but where ever there is life there is change, and we alway know that no matter what is thrown at us, we can always start again.
