Catholic, hummmmm.Are you still in that church, if so you had better find you a church that preaches the true Word of God.One should know that man can't save or forgive a person sin, only Jesus.John 3:16.If you are not in the Catholic anymore.do you know, that you know you have been borned again, and accepted Jesus in your heart.Works cannot save a person.Only the Precious Blood of Jesus.Read Romans 10:9-13. Also Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Ok, I guess your first lesson is that not all of your comments here will be full of God's love or wisdom. (see above)We don't have any control over who comments.
More important is to know that there will be many highs and lows being a follower of Jesus. He told us there would be. You can start here by looking around at the blogs. Again, some are very good and some not so helpful so don't let them discourage you. But you will find many people here with many different experiences of following God. Many are also struggling like you are. Check out mine if you like (Walking in the Light, on the first page)
Since you mention music, are you on Itunes? Check out some Christian music there. Again a lot of it is very good, some not so great. You could also try some sermons on podcasts. Andy Stanley is very good, not at all boring.
There are a lot of things I could talk about but see if you like it here first. If you are really seeking you will find help here. But it won't happen overnight. It is not supposed to. See you around.
