Since you are using the text editor, rather than the HTML editor, you should use some basic HTML for formatting. To just make paragraph breaks, put to start a new paragraph.

Yeah. Hey Ray, this site does not work really well with any version of Internet Explorer other than 6, I have noticed. It will even sometimes give you no place to enter your text in the HTML editor mode, and always screws around with the formating.
The net effect is to force people into using the text editor, which will retain the spaces and carriage returns just like Notepad would, but of course does not put any tags in for the Browser to interprete when it displays, and like it should, it turns multiple white space characters strung together into one space.
This is part of a larger problem with I.E. 7 and presumably I.E. 8. Unfortunately, in some locations, we don't personally control what version we use. My company bought into the propaganda from Microsoft and pushed I.E. 7 to all machines. I wish I could use Firefox instead, but I am not given that option. Your site is not the only one that I.E. 7 breaks.
