Well Mel, it may be odd stuff to you, but I taqke it a serious piece of writing.
I admire your stand & can certainlyrelate to it, the H S breaks you but also puts you together. The drill sergeants in the forces also break you down, but put you together in the way of the service. To obey without thought!
Yes it also is God's way, but God breaks you with compassion something missing from most forces!!!!

Stuart, when I write here, I am less about just laying out the scriptures, and more about laying out something that I invite comment that disagrees. I am certainly still capable of being wrong, and my thoughts may be off the beaten path (maybe the 'wide road', maybe not) and at the very least, I intend to spark controversy when I post here. My daily studies are more about just putting down the scripture and letting it speak for itself, which it can do much more powerfully than I can.
And I return the salute, not as if you saluted me first out of anything other than you saw me first and chose, therefore to salute first. Others who do not understand the ritual will not understand this, but certainly those who have served do! (is this speaking in parables? LOL!!!)
