I know Christians who seem to have a good grasp of Christianity in their heads and they really think that they are living a godly life because of it, when reality is that they are not practically applying their knowledge to themselves. They can talk a good talk, but the life dosen't quite match up. I wonder what the most effective way would be to encourage them to transfer it from the head into practical application in the life when they really are blind to the whole thing.

Good post Bro. Lee.... and Jeanette's comment is right on as well... until what we believe begins to affect who we are by the things we do, then our failth is not much good to us.... which is what I know you are saying Lee. I like the statement, "If what we believe does not matter then it does not mattter what we believe."

That is what I believe is the problem today... we believe one thing and do another and until the person in the pew understands that it is how we make our decisions... not on Sunday morning but every single decision that we make... until we start to give those decisions to the Lord one decision at a time.... then nothing is really ever going to change!

Sins of omission seem to always come with a great excuse attatched, so the body weakens. Blending in is the only way to reach people for Christ, so the body looses distinction. What exactly is the greatest foe to the body and why don't we care for it? Questions are so much more available than answers. SAD!
    Great post!

Well put, we all forget sometimes who the potter is!! See Lois's blog.
The excuse is 'I am only human' we have all made it at some time, well we are, but the potter is still our God.
    Thanks Lee
    Love in His Name Stuart
