    Hi Michael,
Amen! Your writing is very interesting, how true these things are today of what you spoke of. I'm so glad you launched out into the Ministry that God had planned for you.

We know the Holy Spirit led you to Cindy's Shop, to be a witness and to comfort her. A messenger from God, which she didn't know, but we pray that she will soon realize that she needs a Savior.

May God bless Cindy as she walks through this valley. I know how she feels, her pain, her sorrow, because I have walked in her shoes, my only child also, but I had Jesus to lean on and the prayers of the Christians. I couldn't have made it without Jesus. He carried me....

The Churches should be like a hospital, when one is sick or going through trouble. The Christians should show their love, and have compassion. When one gets down help lift them up. Also when one rejoices, you do the same.
    Stand together in unity.

Good to hear that you have 2 men that has a desire for Bible study and discipleship. One never knows how the Holy Spirit will lead.
Thank our Good Lord for answering Prayer...

Praying for you Bro.Michael, Cindy and all the others you mentioned.
God bless you as you work in His vineyard with Love,Joy and Peace in HIM...

    With God's Love,
    Lois J.

    Michael,

I have been to "Christian" churches where the name Jesus is barely mentioned if at all. Often God is mentioned, but the person of Jesus is neglected. Where you are angry, others feel sorrow. Still others are perplexed and yet emboldened. I think we all have a part Michael. We are different parts of the same body, and obviously you serve a purpose that will cause some to say the things that they do about you. The eye does not understand what it is to be the nose, although when they work together as they should, the perception of the whole body is enhanced.

You keep doing it. I might say something from time to time to say that I don't understand or disagree, but don't let me take it to the point of judging you.

    In Jesus' Name,

    Mel

BTW, I might not mention Jesus as much as I should, so who am I to even make a discernment in this. But where you are faithful, you have more freedom to speak.

    What a wonderful, thought-provoking posting.
I am sure that God has put you in Cindy's life to plant the seed of His eternal life and salvation.
We must remember to do it in baby steps and let the Holy Spirit do His job too!
I agree with you about some of the mega churches out there only caring that they get enough money from the collection of tithes.
I believe in a Bible-based, Bible-teaching church only... with no watered down version of the gospel.
They must teach the words of repentance from sins and belief in Jesus Christ, first and foremost.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and please continue to... I will pray for your ministry.
God bless you on this wonderful day! ML

Another thought just came to my mind.
I wanted to share something that happened in my neighbourhood last winter.
Three of us Christian women met once a week to watch a video of a Bible teacher and invited six other women from the area to join us.
After the first week we wondered if they would come back.
Not only did they return, but they brought a few other friends with them!
We continued this on for about ten weeks with about fourteen women coming!
I am telling you this to give you a little encouragement for your ministry!
You never know where He will lead you!!

God sends prophets to the big churches going in the wrong direction but sometimes they just don't listen and then will fall under judgment. It's heartbreaking but I don't know that we must get all upset about it. God will take care of it either way...it's His church after all. All we have to do is our part and not force others to do their part. Encourage, yes,...force,no. God gave man a free will. A test is formed to see if man will obey or not. The question is...Does he really love God?

Is being stressed out all the time over the condition of others the way we should live? "Come be a Christian so you can be stressed out like me!"?

God is all we need to be happy in spite of what others do. We can choose to get all upset about everything that's wrong (Which is quite a lot in this world) or we can trust, like little children, that eventually God will make everything right. We cannot carry the weight of the whole world, only God can.

Instead of pointing fingers at all who are doing wrong in our culture, we can redirect that energy to improving our own character and actions instead...which is often lacking when we are stressed out.

As a result, we will change our world by being the people we should be rather than by yelling, kicking, and screaming at everybody else to be what they should be.

If you have conformed yourself to the way you should be in Christ, you will be setting an amazing example to others on how to live and will be showing them the true character of Christ and will also be affecting your world by doing all the good works that go along with that. You will make a difference and you will do it by loving God and others and not by being angry with everyone and beating the sheep into submission.

Jesus did not run around everywhere yelling at people and telling them all to shape up or get out. The religious leaders were often reproved for leading the people astray, but the commoners were often met with tender love and kindness...forgiveness...acceptance. Jesus was not all stressed out...He was patient and in control. He loves where others hate. He accepts where others reject. He forgives where others judge.

Question is...are we truly reflecting the character of Christ by our actions and attitudes or are we doing things our way in the flesh and trying to make happen what we think should happen? Are we relying on the power and energy of God to lead and sustain us or are we running ahead of Him and getting all worn out? I think we need to learn to rest in Him in a world gone mad and not let it happen to us and go out only in the power of God. Apart from Him we can do nothing.

Is this the Jeanette I used to know here? If it is, I am glad to hear you again! If not, good commentary. I tend to think along the lines of where one may say something, another cannot. I think that is in line with you talking about Prophets...

    In Truth,
