I agree, Mel. I think that just as the tiny image in someone else's eye is merely the reflection of the bigger thing in front of them, often the issue we see in someone else's life is simply a reflection of the struggle we're facing in our own. In psychology they call it "projection," I believe. Where I'm from, we say it's a case of the pot calling the kettle black. ;-)

Ah, Pride. One of the ones I struggle with greatly, I am afraid. If that were my only thorn -- still I would not be happy about it. That is the truth. LOL!

Mel, I can't speak for anyone else, but lack of comments on my part are indicative of absolutely nothing except that I'm feeling too lazy, tired or brain-dead to say anything on a given day! (hee hee) ;-)

P.S. - Could y'all keep a couple of my friends in your prayers? Their names are Ed and Faydra; he has terminal, widespread cancer, and is not expected to live past the end of the year, and she is dealing with the shock and grief of it as you might expect. She hasn't lost her faith in God, but she's understandably angry right now. They're both in relationship with Jesus, so Ed's destination isn't in doubt; Faydra's just trying to cope with the fact that her hubby is going home before her and she'll be without her soulmate until she joins him. Please pray for them both to have an extra sensing of God's comfort during this tragic time in their lives. Thanks.
