You are right IF... we turn from our tribulation and turn to the Lord... if we try to handle our tribulation on our own then we will just end up in a deeper hole. This is a lot like the statement "practice makes perfect." That in and of itself is a lie. Practice very seldom makes perfect...
because we dont practice perfectly... most of the time we practice imperfectly and all that does is instill bad habits into us.
Perfect practice makes us perfect. Turning from our tribulations and the temptation to handle them in our own way and turning to Jesus brings us patience and endurance and hope!

Amen. You are absolutely right. "Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
We should always turn to Jesus, "But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
