How are you doing? How is your dad coping?

I read your post and am greatly intrigued by it. You come across much like my younger brother whom I have much love and respect for. Perhaps that's the reason why on your first post, it felt like I knew you.

I was only saved about 6 years ago, spending much of my twenties living in the world. I knew about God, gone to church as a child, still prayed when in trouble, but never really knew God. The difference between being saved and not being saved was the absolute blindness. I was blind to everything, blind to sin, blind to the love of God. Being saved, and slowly having my eyes opened bit by bit has made my life exciting and worthwhile. The battle itself between good and evil is fun. I now find reason behind hardships and understand where God is leading me to. Even if we had to put the heaven / hell issue aside, living in the Light is still just so much more interesting than what it used to be.

It's God that makes us blind, and it's God that causes us to see.

Be blessed this day and please let us know how you are doing.

    God Bless

    Hi Lee!
Thanks for the post and for asking about my Dad. He is doing well, for the most part, and the Lord continues to bless him through this time of grieving. His eyes (all of the family’s eyes) have been opened to much and praise the Lord for that. He will be posting again soon I imagine. He works often and spends his extra time with his grandchildren so the computer usually takes a back seat to all of this. In regards to the rest of your comment I feel that our walk with Christ is such an interesting one, and everyone's is a bit different. I am really starting to be amazed by the family of Christ here on this earth. It made me chuckle to see that you view me as a younger brother, in the body of Christ I am, and that is one of the wonderful blessings of our Lord's family. Thanks again for your prayers and concerns. Its greatly appreciated. May your heart continued to be blessed!

Not to get you misunderstanding me - what I meant is that you remind me of MY younger brother whom I have much love and respect for. The way you write is how he echos his life to me (since he really doesn't enjoy writing at all). I see a deep inside to you that I have only ever seen in my brother and as I read your writings, it feels like I know you and know how you feel. I say this with much respect as I know I can learn so much from you.

Hopefully you get what i am trying to say.

    God Bless
