And that is a daily thing, even moment by moment thing that we need to ask ourselves...

Be Blessed, and Thank You Lord!

A thought came to me in prayer last week. God is not patient. He is forgiving, but I think He is very impatiently, very anxiously, waiting for us. He says 27x in the Bible that He will be our God and we will be His people. When I thought of Him as patient, it felt like He didn't really care that much. Like, "Oh, they'll come around eventually." But I think He's pacing the floor while He waits.

Interesting that you should say that Jon, since I myself am a pacer. I pace when I am excited, or anxious. I walk around while talking on the phone. If I could, I'd probably blog while walking about. The image is useful for me, although when it comes to my own children, I am less likely to pace around waiting, I am more likely to act, since they are generally right there in front of me. I guess I'll have to wait until they are teenagers, and out from directly under my thumb. LOL!!!

I think that if you are to view God as patient you would also have to place a timeline on him,. After all patience does not occur immedietly but I know He understands patience. Pray some time for Him to give you patience and see how long you spend in lines waiting.
1Cor. 13 says love is patient and isn't God in essence love so some form of patinence would be called for, but maybe it's all relative since everything is on His timeline anyway.
Hey mel I,m a pacer also they ask me at work if i'm capable of speaking while seated, and step in front of me while I'm talking on the cell phone to see if i stop talking or walking
    Be blessed

I live with a pacer, he also wiggles himself to sleep at night by wiggling his foot or rocking his legs. Irritating if I'm trying to sllep, but I love him anyway!

Ross, drop me a line about the bibles.

    God Bless
