Hi Michael,
What an interesting read. You certainly are a man on a mission - God's mission. Congrats to you! We all have our gifts that the Lord gave to us to use for His purpose and you seem to know your part in His plan. You like to (or feel God's leading you to) be in the thick of things - controversy, unrest, etc. and proclaiming His Law or Word. that is wonderful and you seem to be made that way.
I, on the other hand, may not be standing on my soapbox but still I am the odd ball at the golf and country club or the charity gala. I am 'that sober/ not drunk Christian lady with the Bible'. I have overheard talk of 'that boring Christian lady going to Bible studies'. We all have our place to spread His good news and though mine might seem more refined and easier than yours, it's still my purpose. So when you look around at the places God has challenged you to go don't judge all us Christians as uncaring because we are not with you. We all have our own purpose and part in God's plan. Just thought you would like to hear a ladies point of view on the subject. :=)

Hi Michael,
Read with interest this post on suffering. It caught my eye because I never liked (and must admit -- intensely hated) suffering whether mentally, emotionally, physically or spiritually. Only in the past 10 years have I been able to "count it all joy"! Where did the change come in? When I finally submitted to Jesus as LORD and yielded to God's will for my life. Thank you for this thought-provoking post! God's abundant blessings! Sharon
