Colin, I'm truly sorry about this news. It's difficult to say "Farewell" to a loved one.

God bless you Colin and I will be praying for you in the coming days as you go through all of the various events associated with the funeral service, etc.

    Lovingly because of Calvary,

    Pat

Hi Colin, you and your family are in my prayers. God will be there for you. Remember He is your refuge and strength.- Psalm 46 - May your heart be comforted with His Love, Brenda

I, for one, am not concerned, since you expressed this well enough for me to understand. Yes, there is a tinge of melancholy, but great and tragic sorrow, no.

It is not always such a case. That is the tragedy for others, not you this time. For your assurance in your mind of that, I am glad! The old tradition of 'Wakes' (not sure of the spelling or really truely familiar with it) is that something done around your parts? Just curious...

In that 'peace that passes all understanding',

    My dear friend Colin,
Nothing can take away the sorrow of losing one's parent.
No matter how old they are, or how old we are, they are still our Mummy or Daddy.
So sorry to hear of your loss but you shall be reunited again with your Dad in glorious Heaven.
My prayers are ascending for you and your lovely family at this time.
    Love and Peace, ML

    My Dear Friend Colin,
Words cannot express the feeling that I felt when I read your poem, tear drops fell, I know how it feels when our loved ones leave us and go home to be with Jesus. I know your Dad is rejoicing with Jesus and all the other Saints.
One day you will meet him again. Just remember God's Grace is sufficient in every circumstance. He will give you peace that passeth all understanding. He is the God of all Comfort.

You and all the family will be in our prayers,
you are strong, because God gave you the strength to help others. God will hold you and your family in His big arms...I know because I have walked in the same path, when my loved ones when home to be with Jesus....
God bless you and all the family

You know, from my Catholic point of view, this is a time of sorrow only until you meet again. And you WILL meet again. The sorrow can be changed into joy knowing that your dad is in eternal bliss having seen the face of Jesus....to talk with Him, to walk with Him. Praise our Lord, Jesus Christ, for having suffered and died so that we shall live with Him in glory now and forever.

What can I say but loving arms surround you and hold you close, God will ease your pain, and you will see your dad again. My heart goes out to you in this time of loss, as do my prayers for you and yours. God be with you and keep you.
