Hi Brenda,
I love that song (and even wrote a poem with the same title a number of years ago!). Some people think Jesus was "rebuking" or scolding Martha, but I don't believe He was. I think His tone was gentle and that He was reminding her that she had forgotten to put Him first -- before anything else. We all need reminding of that at times, eh! God bless, my friend.

Sharon I agree with you. Jesus does everything in Love. Yes I certainly do need to be reminded from time to time. He knows just what we need.
