Bro Larry,
I can never read about the crucifixion without weeping. My ugly sin sent Jesus to the Cross! What Jesus suffered -- for us, for me and then to say, "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do"! He may not have gone "willingly" but He went obediently for the joy that was set before Him! Thank You Lord!!!

Bro Larry, that is such a shameful death to die, and He did it for us. I have never ever read that one.
I don't believe people really understand all the suffering He endured on the Cross. Our group was in tears last night as we watched it on film.

Hi Bro Larry...thank you for your post about crucifixion. I have heard some argue that Jesus was crucified with His hands above His head. Some also say he was nailed through the wrists rather than the palms of His hands. Anyway...it was a cruel death and apart from that suffering..think of the wrath His Father poured out on Him as well. I think as Christians we all should take a moment and consider all the suffering He really did go through. I fear fot those who reject His sacrifice...to set it at nought must heartbreak God and kindle His wrath.

Hello! Brother Larry, Your Post start with the word " CRUCIFIXION" It tore my inside apart right there,so it was enough for some serious meditations thank you Jesus for going to such shame and horrible pain that no one can describe ,You died from shock of the pain they inflicted on you for my sinful nature I realy repent but it does not take away what you went through for me.Bro Larry thank you for I must never forget JN, 3:16 ..love in Jesus byebye
