Amen! I wish more people would call their local nursing homes and find out what they can do to be involved with the forgotten ones. A real commitment to a group of people who's only crime is not being able to care for themselves. Making the time to simply visit with them for only an hour once a week, or even just once or twice a month- is a blessing to the time donor... and to the resident.
