Well said!
If we really care to think about what you just pointed out... why would we even contemplate surrendering to temptation in the first place?
And... even taking in our own personal experience... we know that our sin is NOT going to produce the fruit that we really want but yet we fall anyway...
reminds me of the definition of insanity... or what I call stupidity... doing the same things over and over again expecting different results. Another lie that Satan has fed us hook line and sinker...
Emphasis on sinker!
