You`re right,Teri.
It`s humans` nature to to burden ourselves with all kinds of negative emotions and worldly woes. But this is what Jesus teaches us to overcome.KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE!
Bless you

You know, I can't say much. I carry a laptop to and from work every day, and I can't remember the last time I really needed it. Human nature, I think. But really, what do I need?
Hmmm...
In Christ,
Mel

I think one of the heaviest things we carry in our packs is fear, but God says we don't have to carry that one at all.

Thanks so much for the comments and for stopping by. I do think fear and doubt are huge burdens. I also think that a great deal of what we carry is what really belongs to God.
Also, see "Mel's Odd Stuff" for more.

Faith is the key to overcoming fear and doubt.
Fear-not knowing
Doubt-not sure
Faith -believing without questioning

It took a lot for me to take what I carried in my own life-backpack, and lay it all on the cross. After my first time of doing it, I felt such a relief from burden, and such a joy in my heart. Now, I have learned to do it all the time--even if it takes a few attempts and lots of tears, I lay it all in front of God. Satan might try to attack, but he is never successful, for my burdens are at the most Divine place, and God is in full control of my life. Amen!
I am praying for you this week, my sister. Please email me at the address above, which is just my intercessor email address for my daily and nightly intercessing routine. If I don't hear from you, I will just pray for you by what I read here. However, if you need special prayer, please email me and it will be prayed about every night, devotedly.
God Bless,
Kelly
