Thank you for your thought orienting and awakening post. I came to think of Jesus telling us one will only suffer more (many more devils stepping in) if we clean the house, so to speak, thinking of regret and re-birth as a work to do. And something you wrote made me think back to the Christians in the Medieval times, the first Christians, taking positions of authority in society. They must have been motivated by a feeling (why should they, one could ask). I have to think a little bit on that.

Again: Thank you. God bless your weekend.

Thank You, Anders, so much for You very kind words! Thank You :-)

Anders, about Your first comment, were You meaning this portion of the Sripture:

"When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it roams through waterless places in search [of a place] of rest (release, refreshment, ease); and finding none it says, I will go back to my house from which I came.
And when it arrives, it finds [the place] swept and put in order and furnished and decorated.
And it goes and brings other spirits, seven [of them], more evil than itself, and they enter in, settle down, and dwell there; and the last state of that person is worse than the first." in Luke 11

I believe it says that seven more evil spirits will come when that person from whom the demons were cast out has not filled the space with Jesus Christ and His Word. When we are full of the Word of God, the demons have no place in our lives.

Thank You, Anders for Your thoughts... many, many blessings to You,

    Hi Eve,
You mentioned that even if we are not fighting the Russians we are fighting the enemy.
    Oh, you are so right.
I live in a neat and tidy, safe sub-division, no war here - on the outside.
But inside, the enemy is always trying to give me self-doubt and trying to make me question my decisions and motives.
Oh, he is an evil one!
But,the pitiful powers of this world are nothing compared to the armies in heaven fighting on our behalf.
We have to trust God and know that He knows what is happening to us.
Keep your shield up - your faith - because it's purpose is to extinguish all the flaming arrows of Satan.
    In God's peace,
Hugs and love to you, ML

Oh, yes, dear Mary Lou, You are so right! The enemy is everywhere and trying to owrk on every one of us. But like You said, we have the shield of faith with which we can quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one... AND we have the name - Jesus Christ - at whose name every knee shall bow in heaven and earth and under the earth. We can use this name against the enemy and he will have to flee from us. No power of hell can come against this name! Wow!

Thank You, dear Mary Lou for Your comments and thoughts :-)

    Many, many blessings to You,

I did. And I believe we can make the house a sterile fortress to no use. A child’s hut should do, though. Thihi!

Thinking about the first Christians taking positions of authority in society I believe there is no rule given by their work for Christians to obey. The feeling, the calling, and an immediate need for a Christian society, must have been what motivated them. But a historic change occurred when they did. And even if modern societies often come short to what we would expect from them (Americans torturing prisoners an example), the modern (western) democracy by constitution, given by the Principle of Legacy, inhibits this what the first Christians grounded (the first Christian emperor was Constantine (to power in 324 a.c, but the first Christian regime was established under his successor Theodicius, to power in 381 a.c.)). And what this was, what this is, is what the communist regime did not respect, namely the fact we solely obey the eyes of Jesus Christ, The Son of God. We are not ourselves, our destiny given, in the eyes of the rulers. We obey, or not, the law. Our home is sacred – is holy. This principle is to point out today also, I am afraid, since modern technology makes surveillance so easy, which is scary. We owe this principle to Christ. But it was the first Christians who put it into work.

Well. Thank you for your kind words. God bless you in your love.
