Good thoughts Jeannine in this wonderful poem!
The birds awaken me almost every morning around 3:30 a.m. Even when it's raining their songs of praise are still lifted to our Creator GOD. "Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee, how great Thou art!" What a lesson for us human beings, eh?!!

I have often heard a single bird sing in the dead of night and have wondered if this held any special spiritual meaning. I think this poem has given me the spiritual meaning I was looking for. A truly blessed piece of Divine nature!
