Your article holds lot of truth. I especially like the scripture you used in Jer. Surely God does speak to us in a still small voice.

"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."
Don't you just love that Scripture verse?
To 'delight in God' is to find pleasure in Him - to fellowship with Him and enjoy it. To delight in God is as much a privilege as it is our duty.
And as for 'giving us the desires of your heart'... God does not promise to gratify our lusts or appetites of the body, but to feed our renewed, sanctified souls. The greatest desire of a follower is to know, love and serve the Lord.
So God is promising that if we find great pleasure in fellowshipping with Him and we truly enjoy our relationship with Him, He will let us know Him and love Him and serve Him.
That is pretty awesome isn't it?
