Our church went through 40 Days last year. I even wrote a little devotional book for teens from it. I would be really interested to follow with you as you walk that path. Based on this post, it does look like you are well grounded already. Keep up the good work.

I have not read this book, but I should. I see purpose as something that keeps me alive. I understand nihilistic thought, and the book of Ecclesiastes is full of echos of that, and yet reading the end of the book, you can find hope in purpose that has been there before we were born.
Share. If you have time, go to others' blogs and read and think and share some more. Spend that quiet time that is so hard to do. Even before worrying about this other stuff so much. Be blessed by taking that time.
Two things. Strive to do nothing that you would feel compelled to lie about. Strive to be a bettter person tommorrow than you are today, or more positively, to be a better person today than you were yesterday.
When you fail, do not be burdened with shame. Let Godly given guilt turn you back to doing what is right, accept God's grace and press on. Listen to what others say, but examine the scriptures for yourself. I tend to make things too complicated. Keep it simple. Find the core of the Good News, and test everything against that. I look forward to your future posts!
