I Revelation 3 jesus tells the church that they are like lukewarm water. That says two things.
First it says that He gets refreshed by us. We can be like a drink of ice cold water on a dry day to Him, if we live with passion. It is easy to picture Him warn out by our whinning and lack of passion, but being refreshed by someone who is sold out for Him.
It also says that many of us are not that. Our lives are like drinking warm, sticky, nasty water when He is thirsty. The kind of water that seems to coat your mouth in chalk. And its not from making mistakes, its from not caring, not even trying, not even knowing that we could be better.
