    Very interesting.
Anything that takes our main focus away from God is wrong.
God first, husband second, children third.

We should never ever put any thing before God.sadly enough more and more people christians included are putting other things first. Then it becomes an idol. great point.

Sometimes I wonder why people don't spend more of their time and money on things that are really important like defending the pre-born or assisting their fellow man in some other beneficial way. They sit there enjoying games, watching the battle on the field, and swigging beer, thinking they're real men, while they could be joining in a real battle helping to save the millions of babies that are being slaughtered. If we took all the money that sports generated and used it for some worthy cause instead, I wonder how much better a place this would be to live in. People's priorities are surely mixed up in this crazy, selfish world. I'm not saying sports are bad, just out of proportion.

I checked up the word ‘crowd’, and this is what I found of interest. Both passages, I believe, says something about the man of the crowd.

    Exodus 23,2-3:
"Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd, and do not show favoritism to a poor man in his lawsuit."
[The man of the crowd is poor.]

    Jeremiah 9,2:
"Oh, that I had in the desert a lodging place for travelers, so that I might leave my people and go away from them; for they are all adulterers, a crowd of unfaithful people."
[The man of the crowd lacks (conditional) faith.]
