So we do not believe in the Church, I think when reading your post. We believe in God. The Church reminds us of her, the woman, both by being the woman to Christ (ref. Paul in [Rom 12:5], 1 Cor. [12:27], [Eph. 1:23]) and by its building and the service in it. Now Jesus said: “I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” (John 12:24) But what earth in this respect to man is will differ. And I enjoy your criticism of any will to “curb the evil tendency in male against independence” (‘tam-tara-bam-tara-bam!’) We do not believe in the Church, but in God. Still the Church, still she, is the one who gives life to the seed. We are ourselves sons of her. So we better, as sons of God, love her. :)
I myself believe, though, I will not find any pleasure in any church of today.
