Today, in America, the true Christian is persecuted when he proclaims the fullness of the Gospel, that professors in Christ must separate themselves from the world and all that is carnally oriented, both in the world and in the churches. He is labeled a "legalist," and accused of promoting a "works-gospel." All true followers of Jesus, as you alluded, are His prisoners. They have surrendered their will, their hopes and lives unto a faithful Creator, knowing that only He knows what is best for them.
The poem is very good, sister!
