Dear Colin,
In the first half of your poem you have described well what it's like outside my door today...cold, cold, cold, snow, snow, snow (okay, so my line of prose is not quite as descriptive as yours, and I do like yours much better!)... and the second half of your poem makes me long for our Eternal Home even more! I love your poetry, my friend! Thank you for sharing your God-given gift!

Hi Colin I enjoyed taking your journey with you as you headed for home. What a lovely fireplace. You are a gifted poet in the Lord. The picture was so beautiful,(how in the world does he do it!). I agree with sharon, especially of that final trip home, to be at last with the One who gave Himself for us.

Enjoyed your wonderful poem. Also the beautiful photo and your warm welcome to you living room, the fire blazing, looks so cozy and warm....I really enjoy sitting by the fireplace, so peaceful....

Hey, Colin, such a great poem and so true words... thankfully even in this world we have this safe, secure, cozy and warm place - in the arms of our loving Heavenly Father. It is truly the one place where we always feel at home and our souls can rest. I so, so long for the fellowship with Him when I have had a long day attending to this world's chores.
