As my journey with the Lord continues, I am slowly learning to love no matter what. I admit that it was not an "automatic" thing (if you recall some of my previous blogs) but, it slow is becoming natural. The trick for me was to ask for the compassion for people, and with the compassion came the love. Something I am so glad that God brought into my life, for now I can truly start loving uncondionally.
Praise God.
Ps- Welcome back, you were gone for a while and I started getting worried.

Most times I find it difficult to like some of my neighbours!!!! Never mind love them, I prayed about this & have come to believe that Love is an act of WILL. I must focus my mind on folks as Jesus would, then it becomes easier to love them. I have been doing this for ages & it gets easier.
We still carry a lot of: " I can forgive you, but not forget". Therein lies part of the problem. If God treated us like that where would we be? This is my own experience & in no way is meant to be a formula for instant love, just my experiences. But life is better God's way, Praise Be!

Love...the essential ingredient to our faith and the greatest tool in leading others to our faith.
Love...the only reason that we are not consumed.

Yes, Stuart, Love is a Choice that one must make every day. Not understanding that very principle and attibuting Love to Feelings alone is probably the downfall of many a relationship...

I find it funny to realize, though we may talk about it frequently do we really think about it do we really put it into action? I have found myself so busy lately that I'm forgetting what my family looks like and that is wrong.I don't sleep enough and find comments directed at coworkers less than kind. I yell at people on the freeway. I must realize I'm not showing that love anywhere so it's just alot of lip service on my part. It's a decision that must be made daily, then acted upon
