My favourite Evangelist is D. L. Moody from Chicago, came to Scotland with Sankey & as a direct result of this mission , The Glasgow Bible Institute was founded, later to become Glasgow Bible College now International Mission. Wrote a paper on him whilst at Glasgow Bible College. Still trying to keep up with promises made then, to win souls for Christ.

So you know then that he was nobody before he went over there. just another street preacher and when he got back he was an evangelist phenomonon that everybody wanted to hear with a simple 3 R's sermon. actually pretty incredible when you think about it

I'm a "fan" (if you call it that) of Charles Spurgeon as well. He was a wonderful man.
